Previous Boat New Moon II was a 38 foot aluminium game fishing boat that worked out of Cairns, Queensland, Australia. This boat was constructed in 1996 by Cairns Custom Craft and was used for day and overnight charters. New Moon II is fully equipped with the latest light and heavy tackle and fully equipped for fly fishing. She has excellent electronics for locating bait schools and the big ones. She is a comfortable day boat (maximum 12) and can accomodate up to 4 anglers for live on board charters. The cabin is air-conditioned and features a full galley with television, video, stereo etc. Power is 12 and 240V. We have featured in fishing shows on Wide World of Sports, Wild Fish and Fishing Northern Australia and the latest billfish video production by Alex Julius. In addition we have also appeared in Modern Fishing, Fishing World, NAFA and Marlin magazines. It is a proven Game Fishing boat having won consecutive Townsville
Billfish Tournaments in Other achievements have been Champion boat in the International Black Marlin Fly Fishing Tournament in Cairns with a World Record on Fly, 98 and 99 Cairns Light Tackle Tournament. However not everyone wants the stress of a tournament and we are happy just to fish for enjoyment. So come and join us
